The Music and Image Transdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree Programme at National Taipei National University of the Arts focuses on music, studying three core areas: music arrangement, sound design and recording production, and integrating them through transdisciplinary fieldwork. The practical course covers music arrangement, film and television scoring, production and publishing, recording technology, sound technology engineering, exhibition activities, media marketing, etc. The theme-based programme inspires innovative thinking and independent learning, creating international co-production projects with local flavour and humanistic care through fieldwork. The programme aims to cultivate talents with global vision and international competitiveness in audio-visual production and cross-art integration in the new era.
Meanwhile, the programme cooperates with more than 20 high-quality industrial and academic institutions across Taiwan, linking national and professional venues (such as the Taipei Popular Music Center, Kaohsiung Popular Music Center, and the Taiwan Contemporary Culture Laboratory of the Air Force General Administration of Civil Aviation (Taiwan Air Force)) and other cooperation mechanisms; and in terms of practical learning, the programme includes music arrangement and creation, audio-visual music scoring, production and publishing, recording technology, sound engineering, exhibition and performance activities, and media marketing to fully demonstrate the effectiveness of the learning process.
The theme-based programme inspires innovative thinking and independent learning, and through fieldwork, creates international co-production projects with local characteristics and humanistic country care, to cultivate leaders with interdisciplinary integration and execution of music and video in the new era.
